Whether in written, spoken or musical form, Nicolas Alzetta's work is a continuous negotiation with its circumstances.

 

If one cannot act or think differently in a given situation, the point becomes to alter what similar situations will allow in the future.

The aim is not to escape determinations, but to remain within them in such a way that the range of desired actions they bring forth is extended.​

He holds a PhD in philosophy from the University of Antwerp and a bachelor’s degree from Berklee College of Music.

Currently based in Belgium, he has lived in New York, Boston and Amsterdam, presenting his work and performing across Europe and the United States.
